Job Description

Regional Manager | Bristol-Bath-South Gloucestershire-Wiltshire | Permanent | £39kRocasa Consulting is recruiting for a new and exiting role Regional Manager, covering Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire & Wiltshire.Our Client is a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. They run several projects and every year they help thousands of people out of homelessness, into employment, away from domesticabuse, and more.Job Role: Regional ManagerSalary: £39,000 per annumHours: 37.5 hours, Monday to FridayContract type: PermanentLocation: Covering Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and WiltshireAdditional information:

  • Participate in the on-call service rota as required acting as the senior manager on call
  • Ability to travel to the different service regularly and occasionally stay overnight if required.
Responsibilities:
  • The Regional Manager will work with four Service Managers to oversee the day-to-day operational management of their services, devising and implementing improvement plans and ensuring services are running smoothly
  • Overseeing a range of specialist services including Domestic Abuse services with Refuge Accommodation, Children and Young people domestic abuse service and Autism and Aspergers Supported Housing. The role will also oversees several differentRefugee Services across BANES and South Gloucester, supporting refugees from Afghan, Syria and Ukraine
  • Clients lead complex lives and may have experienced or still be experiencing, trauma, mental ill-health, substance misuse, domestic abuse or involvement with the criminal justice system. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience workingwith homeless people, be passionate to make a difference and have a drive to deliver positive outcomes for our clients.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Proven experience of managing outreach, homelessness, housing, health, care or support services as well as teams, which deliver positive outcomes for our clients across the region
  • A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs
  • Knowledge of homelessness law
  • Understanding of the causes of homelessness and social exclusion and approaches which seek to address this and prevent people from sleeping rough
