Production/Process Team Leader (Chemicals)Midsomer Norton£43,500 + 25 Days Holiday which rise with service + Pension + BenefitsDAYS BASED ROLEProduction Team Leader required for a global and innovate manufacturer who are market leading and continuing to grow. They are currently investing heavily within the site and boast a great team environment. This is a varied role with a high level of responsibility.The role would suit candidates who currently work within a manufacturing facility and have proven success of leading large teams. Applicants within a chemical engineering background will have a considerable advantage.This is a front line management position where you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day production within a busy, fast paced manufacturing plant. You will be overseeing circa 90 people on site and working to a production plan. As part of thisyou will be tasked with identifying training gaps, carrying out appraisals and disciplinaries etc. You will be responsible for ensuring that products are manufactured to a high quality standard and ensure that chemicals are mixed to the right formulas/processes.You will carry out root cause analysis from any non conformities or customer complaints.This is an excellent opportunity within a reputable organisation which are a brand associated with quality. Flexible start and finish timesThe Person:*Must have previous experience working within a manufacturing facility*Must have a successful track record of coordinating and mentoring a large team*Applicants who have a chemical engineering background will have a considerable advantage
