We are currently recruiting for a Principal Engineer for Public Transport to work on a full-time contract. This role will be based out of Keynsham however flexible working patterns are available.About the role:A great opportunity to work in public transport on both a regional and local platform. You will have a key role in shaping the transport policy across the West of England area and within Bath & North East Somerset at a time where transport policy and travelbehaviours are key in achieving our climate emergency objectives.The primary role will be to develop and ensure an effective working relationship with the West of England Combined Authority; to shape and support the Integrated Transport Authority’s public transport plans. In addition, we have an ambitious City RegionalTransport Settlement programme to deliver requiring expert public transport collaboration.About you:You will be an enthusiastic public transport professional, ready to take on a more senior role, bringing expert knowledge of legislation and energy to addressing the challenges this sector faces.
