Job Description

Payroll Specialist (Oracle Cloud), 4-5 months+, 2-3 days on-site, Outside IR35, Immediate start!Good morning!Im currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join a well known organisation undertaking a Transformation programme centred around a move to a new Payroll System (Oracle Cloud). The role itself will run for an initial period of 4-5 months, with a viewto a possible extension & falls outside of IR35.The position itself is hybrid. Im looking for individuals that are able to commit to a minimum of 2-3 days per week on-site for knowledge transfer purposes.Day to day responsibilities will include, but arent limited to:

  • Support and troubleshoot defects coming out of the SIT, UAT and PPR test cycles
  • Some test execution involved (likely to be minimal).
  • Support specification and data reconciliation and validation.
  • Maintenance of the existing process design documents
  • Managing complex payroll processing tasks.
  • Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies and issues.
  • Working with various departments & external suppliers to ensure accuracy relating to Payroll
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest changes in payroll regulations
Essential Skills required:
  • Extensive understanding of UK statutory payroll requirements especially around items such as statutory leave and auto enrolment.
  • Understanding of the pay cycle and the key activities that need to be completed leading up to a pay run, executing a pay run and performing post pay reporting and reconciliation is essential.
  • Experience of working with Oracle Cloud Payroll
Ideal experience/knowledge:
  • Experience supporting a systems implementation is desirable
