No permanent employee has been made redundant!The Role;Being a Linux Operations Engineer you will be given a once-in-a-lifetime experience to work in an environment which is both stimulating and positively challenging, embracing the culture of a truly game changing company.As a Linux Operations Engineer your work will contribute towards the companys 24x7 hour operation, monitoring, maintaining, supporting and deploying unique cloud, virtualised and Windows & Linux infrastructure (Ubuntu, Centos, Debian, Redhat, and Samba).The current environment favours Linux (hence why any flavour is of interest), however your Windows skills will still benefit you on a daily basis.State-of-the-art facility and amazing working environment, commutable via train, bus, car or cycle. Technical training programmes also available in order to develop your Linux based knowledge.If working within a shift pattern, 4 days on (7.30am-7.30pm), 4 days off, suits your work-life balance - then this is role for you.Skills & Experience;Candidate should have a minimum of 1 years experience in an IT Operational support role working with Linux operating systems, HOWEVER happy to speak with professional who hold a knowledge of Linux based systems with very little commercial experience.
