My client based in Bath are a Global Ecommerce retailer and are currently looking for a Global Brand Planner to develop and lead all forward integrated customer campaign planning for the marketing and commercial calendar. This role would really suit someone who has come from an agency background having worked as a Planner or Strategist. The role will lead the brand strategy for all consumer marketing campaigns. Identifying the core theme, the target audience proposition, the approach for brand and marketing channel owners, and setting the messaging strategy and creative direction of the campaigns.Main responsibilities* Undertake regular competitor audits (proposition, campaigns and media)* Create and deliver an ongoing programme of market leading customer proposition development using research and insight* Create and deliver target segment strategies and action plans across the customer experience* Ensure the end to end brand and customer experience is optimised based on insight and performance* Create compelling campaign themes from insight and develop forward campaign themes and strategies (12-18 month calendar).* Build excellent processes and relationships across all teams to deliver innovative, effective and on brand and marketing communications.* Work closely with the Communications & Campaigns, Content and Creative Services team to ensure delivery of briefs. Create post campaign reviews.* Lead internal marketing, communications and commercial team working sessions and process to create compelling campaign themes, stories and strategies and the delivery the forward Customer Marketing plans.* Distil consumer and customer insights and trends for application and optimisation across the end to end brand experience* Deliver Consumer and Customer Insights to support the new product development process.* To work with the Global Brand Director on brand strategy development and evolution* Lead on the ideation and identification of strategic brand partnerships, licences and collaborations for brand growth.* Create and measure brand funnel metrics and performance by territory.The client is looking for someone with significant global consumer marketing strategy development experience along with research and insight distillation experience with measurable application.
