Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting career move Would you like to join a market leading company who deploy and support sophisticated, powerful service management software. Used by companies all over the world, large and small, to provide support to their staff and customersCurrently in a fantastic period of growth as a result of technical advancement in their products, they are now looking to expand the UK development team who are based around the South West - reporting in to the Weston-Super-Mare office, but with a flexible office schedule allowing you to work from home on a majority basis (if desired!)Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for a permanent Full-Stack Software Engineer (remote working if desired) with the UK Head Office based in Weston Super Mare, Somerset.The working hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. The annual salary is £48,000 - £50,000 PAdependant on experience.The Package:

  1. Working Hours 9-5 M-F
  2. Remote working if preferred
  3. 21 Days holiday, increasing 1 day for each full year up to a max 5 additional days

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new features to a high standard, and with a focus on customer experience.
  • Fix bugs quickly and effectively.
  • Support customers on hosted and non-hosted platforms with remote issue diagnosis, database data fixes and product upgrades.
  • Support other teams by helping where necessary with technical advice, information on new features you’re developing, and explanations about bug fixes.
  • Contribute to the technical growth of the product / platform by staying apprised of new tools and technologies.
  • Documentation of your work - primarily technical documentation on your work for the rest of the development team, but occasionally working with the implementation team to help document certain features for a tech-savvy audience.
    • Essential:5+ years of web application development experience using ASP.NET MVC C#3+ years of database development with MS SQL ServerHTML/CSS/JavaScriptGitVisual StudioSQL Server Management StudioDesirable:Azure DevOps or predecessorsKnockout.js or similar framework(s)Chrome debugging toolsWeb APIWinForms.NETAgile development with Scrum or KanbanAbout You: Flexible approach to be doing one thing one minute and have to swap to something else the next.Problem solver, tenacity.Team player, good fun.Willingness to learn / growth mindset, along with some evidence of doing side projects in their own time.*Closing date is 30th August 2020*To Apply:Please follow the application process for the site this job is advertised on or email your CV to Rebecca.
