Job Description

Finance Manager - FTCBathHybrid £35,000-£40,000 + benefitsQuinton Davies is pleased to be representing our Bath based client for the appointment of a Finance Manager, on a fixed term basis. This would ideally suit a candidate who is part qualified or working towards an accountancy qualification.Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for ensuring month-end activities are completed in line with the agreed month-end close deadlines.
  • Ensure Audits are completed on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Actively manage through to resolution any audit points relevant to the team.
  • Management of the finance system, identifying areas for continuous improvement
  • Ensure all Internal and external customers are invoiced and reconciled in a timely manner,
  • Work collaboratively and business partner with other departments across the group
  • To lead the annual review, update and testing of the finance section of student registration systems
  • Ad hoc support of team members in senior finance
Desired Skills & Knowledge
  • Part - qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent experience)
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of integration of electronic processes connecting core financial systems with supporting systems.
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
