Avanti Recruitment has partnered with a Southwestern global industrial technology company that specializes in the development, and manufacturing of sensors and control systems.Were looking for an embedded software engineer who has 3 - 5 years of industry experience & is looking to take on more responsibility. Youll be responsible for a tight-knit team of software engineers, working with the hardware design team, and be integralto the development of the companys new products, as well as being heavily involved in the conceptualization of brand-new ideas.Essential skills:A degree in electronics engineering or a similar field 3 - 5 years industry experience in an embedded software development role Experience programming on embedded platforms (Arm, STM32, PIC, etc.) Familiarity with Linux Good working experience with communications protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.) Experience using Python / Perl / Bash for scriptingHighly Desirable skills: Comfortable reading VHDL or verilog code Familiarity with C++The companys products and solutions are used in a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, HVAC, industrial, and more, and are designed to monitor and provide critical data about various parameters such as temperature, pressure, and speed,which is used to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance in a wide range of applications.In return, the company is offering: Up to £60,000 salary, hybrid working & flexi hours, 25 days holiday, 7% pension contribution, plus a slew of other benefits, as well as an opportunity to take more responsibility & grow the team further.
