Job Description

The RoleAre you someone who is passionate about putting customers first, progressing your career, and having varied working days If yes, then this role could be for you!At Jewson, we are looking for a customer focused individual to join us as a Driver/Fitter helping to deliver tools and equipment to valued customers. You will be joining a long standing team based in our Bathbranch on Sutton Road and full training will be provided.Jewson is one of more than30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to understand our customers needs in order to deliver solutions to save them time, money and hassle. If you love working with people, youre a good listener and you think you could help our customers feel welcome, then this could be a great opportunityfor you to join our team.What will you be doingOur branches are busy places, with lots going on inside and out, and whilst the exact duties may vary here is a taster of the role.

  • Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey
  • Delivering tools and talking customers through how to use them
  • Working according to Health & Safety
What are we looking forWe are looking for a customer-focused and proactive person who enjoys working as part of a team, you should be happy working both indoors and outdoors with a focus on H&S. No previous experience is required. Just a desire to learn and have a passion to putthe customer first.The role is predominantly based outside, which means youll face the cold of winter and the warmth (hopefully!) of summer, but well provide you with the things you need to do the job, whatever the weather!
