Royal United Hospital Bath NHS TrustGeneral Surgical Clinical Fellow- ST3+ Level An opportunity has arisen for a registrar grade surgeon to join our highly motivated general surgical team at the Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust. We provide GI, general and acute hospital services to approximately 470,000 people in Bath and the surrounding areas and treat more than 250 colorectal cancers per year. We offer treatment for benign upper GI disease and all colorectal disease in a unit performing advanced laparoscopic surgery. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join a team of eleven GI consultants and seven registrars and this post is particularly suited to those with previous experience at registrar level who wish to enhance their specialist experience. The department has a growing quality improvement, research and audit unit and involvement in research is actively encouraged.Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow (ST3-8 equivalent), in General and GI Surgery. This post is available from March 2021 for six months with an option to extend this by mutual agreement. This post would be most suited to those with previous experience at registrar level who wish to enhance their CV and gain more experience in GI surgery. The post holder will participate in the general surgical registrar on call rota at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, which is currently 1in 10 with good junior support including SHO and F1 rotas.Informal enquiries would be welcomed by Miss Sarah Richards, Consultant Surgeon, Clinical Lead- General Surgery.
