My client is an award-winning financial technology company based in the heart of Bath, just a 5minute walk from the train and bus stations. They provide a comprehensive wealth management service or full wrap platform for Financial Advisersand their clients.They have a unique opportunity for a CASS Manager to join their business. CASS represents the centre of what they look to achieve as a platformthe safeguarding of client assets.The role holder will be key in delivering both departmental and individual targets within the appointed timescales and to the highest standards. Application of technical knowledge to the departments operation and innovative, solution-based thinking willbe a key aspect of the role.In Return a competitive salary and benefit package can be offered, plus bonus potential and being a integral part of the business.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement a second line function for CASS oversight within Operations.Support Operations in delivering strategic goals for process improvement relating to CASS, including:Scalability;Efficiency;Operational control/regulatory adherence;Client experience;Oversight;Support Operations on CASS technical query escalations.Coach key individuals and lead training sessions relating to CASS.Take a prominent role in the planning and liaison of both internal and external audits.Provide confidence to the Executive Team and Board with relevant and accurate feedback on our adherence.Liaise with and advise the Investment Administration teams on their regulatory tasks such as reconciliations, CMAR, due diligence and periodic review.Undertale trend analysis on breaches and near misses, providing guidance and suggesting process revision where appropriate.Achieve and actively maintain skills and knowledge to adhere to the Training and Competence standards, undertaking overseer activities as nominated.Skills, Qualifications and Experience> Strong CASS operational knowledge, in particular CASS 6 and 7.> In depth financial services experience with particular strength in the understanding of a wrap platform.> Excellent attention to detail.> Strong interpersonal and communication skills.> Ownership and accountability.> Excellent drive with ability to work unsupervised under own initiative.> Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.> A proactive and innovative approach to problem solving, including persuasion and influencing skills.> PC literate, in particular MS Office Products.Desirable:> Degree education or equivalent or higher.> Experience in a similar role.> Investment Management Certificate (IMC), Operations Certificate (IOC) or equivalent industry recognised qualification.
