Job Description

Walker and Sloan are proud to be working with one of South Wests most awarded Brand and Communications Agency. Due to some fantastic growth they are seeking an Account Manager to join their Client Services team on a full time basis.The Role: Due to the successful growth of new and existing clients, we are on the lookout for an Account Manager to join our busy team and hit the ground running. This role is to support a range of our clients across the accounts team. Due to the nature and pace ofthe accounts, we are looking for someone who is proactive and works well under pressure. You will know when to ask the right questions and have excellent attention to detail.Account managers responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients and connecting with key stakeholders. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successfuldelivery of our solutions according to customer needs.The account structures are split into two. There are monthly retainers of ongoing work, which consist of digital campaigns, organic social media, creative and content production, reporting and insights. There is also project-based work. This role is to comein and pick up a mix of both.Whilst this role sits within the Client Services team, you will work closely with the digital media team and the social media team, in terms of implementing strategies and guiding the client. You will work closely with the creative team, briefing them onwhat you need across your projects.Having a sound understanding of campaigns, different media channels, optimisations, and reporting techniques is required. As well as experience of writing creative briefs and managing the creative process internally.Key attributes:The following attributes are essential1. Be a welcoming face/voice of the agency when dealing with clients or suppliers on thephone, and when they visit the agency2. Establish and build honest relationships with our clients, based on trust and transparency3. Understand AUKs project delivery process and follow the internal approval procedure4. Have excellent project management skills, be efficient, proactive and commercially aware5. Build strong relationships with your colleagues and positively contribute to agency lifeDepartmental responsibilities1. Produce accurate timing plans, containing the right level of resource required, and ensureits booked in with our Studio Manager2. Write compelling and inspirational briefs for the creative team, and have these approved bysenior colleagues beforehand if required3. Ensure creative outputs are reviewed against briefs, seen by senior colleagues andapproved before sharing with clients4. Update status reports and lead client status calls, and follow up with clear notes andactions5. Write contact reports following strategic client meetings, so key conversations aredocumented6. Raise accurate time estimates and quotes, and have these approved by senior colleagueswhere appropriate before sending them to clients7. Monitor the financial status of projects, ensuring profitability and flagging scope creep8. Compile background information on competitors or market insights as requested by theplanning teamBenefits package:
