Kneesworth House Hospital is a 155 bedded mental health and learning disability provider, and the largest hospital within the Priory Group.Wimpole ward provides a safe, therapeutic environment for women with a formal diagnosis of Severe and Complex Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder. The philosophy of the ward is based on a multidisciplinary recovery approach, offering a DBT skills and trauma informed focussed approach. The clinical team will offer a number of interventions, ensuring that the service user is cared for within the least restrictive environment.To provide clinical care and leadership of the nursing and multidisciplinary teams, this includes visibility and role modelling to the nursing team. The post holder will have responsibility for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of clinical care. The role will act as a senior clinical member of the team, providing advice, support and direction from a nursing perspective and oversee and hold responsibility for the ward environment, staffing and resources.
