Job Description

Principal Application Developer

  • Are you an experienced application developer looking for the challenge of being responsible for a highly secure bespoke application
  • Can you be the face of this product
  • Do you want to collaborate and achieve together with committed people to ensure full product availability and achieving agreed SLA targets
    • Our customer is looking for a Principal Application Developer to join a specialist team supporting and enhancing a bespoke critical data transfer solution using internationally recognized protocols.You are someone who can lead the team and can gain an in depth understanding of the underlying architecture of the product. You collaborate extensively with other product specialists to ensure the viability and integrity of the whole solution.You have an extensive knowledge of legacy techniques with a view to modernizing solutions.Your experience• Proven experience with COBOL, TAL or similar Block Structure Language• Experience of working in a Non-stop environment• The ability to understand a bespoke architecture with integrated security• Knowledge of HP Non-Stop and Guardian Operating SystemThe role may demand some travel and flexibility to meet clients and to drive performance, within a culture of respect for professional and private commitments.
