We look for REMARKABLE peopleCastle Trust are looking to for an experienced MI/Data Business Analyst to join the Technology and Projects team. The role is responsible for ensuring that our internal customers have the data and insight that are required to underpin our high level of financial product innovation, pace of change and growth, and that they are delivered in the right way utilising best practice methods. This will be achieved through working closely with the business to understand data needs, its provenance and lineage and how it flows through the various datamarts and reporting tools to support the business. Castle Trust intends to perform a full review of its current data models, usage and aggregation and to propose a series of projects to evolve data mart/data warehouse tools as necessary, and how to leverage this through rollout of advanced Power BI based dashboards, data aggregation tools and leverage of the Azure data toolsets.You will be part of a small core team of data engineers and work closely with colleagues across product management, software engineering, quality, technology operations and infrastructure, as well as with key business, operations and commercial stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing mentoring and guidance to the junior team members and ensuring best practice is adhered to through all developments.The role would suit a talented business and data analyst with a history of success in a combination of demanding Data, Insight and Reporting rolesCastle Trust Bank was established in 20212 as a provider of savings, mortgage and consumer lending products.
