Leveraging the investments, we have already made, well embrace new technology frontiers to create a modern, digitally connectedbusiness; one that delivers maximum impact and value for our customers and people.We have an exciting new opportunity as Head of Solution Architecture to lead the Business Architecture team, defining the IT and digital strategy to enable the delivery of the corporate plan. Youll be based from our head office in Basingstoke,with a mix of home and office working.This role is a critical role in the business. Working with both our internal teams and technology partners, the Head of Solution Architecture will deliver holistic, best-of-breed designs and solutions that help provide the best solutions for our tenants,staff and partners.The roleOur corporate objectives focus on digital transformation, cloud technologies, customer experience and operational excellence. Youll manage our team of Solution Architects and Technical Design Leads, who will work with the Business and Process Architectsto understand the relationship between these components and the optimisation opportunities that technology can bring. This plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end Architectural blueprints across the business that will ensure robust systems which are drivenby the right processes and skills.Responsibilities include:

• Managing, triaging and tracking requests of support into the architecture function, ensuring the delivery of first-class solutions across the business
• Working with the Lead Business Architect and IT Director to ensure the commission of the Architecture governance boards (SRB & ARB)
• Creating an accurate RoadMap of transformation from existing services to future services through the management and dissemination of business need, existing investment, strategy partners, and capability
• Assisting in the development and selection of new products and propositions
• Supporting the CIO Portfolio / Transformation teams to size and estimate project implementation, and identify resources/skills for delivery of solution
• Delivering sector and market-leading technology solutions that meet the stated people, process, technology, time and cost objectives

What were looking forYoull need to evidence previous experience in a similar senior and technical role in Solutions Architecture. Were looking for you to demonstrate a track record in delivering innovative technical solutions as well as experience managing a high performingsolution architecture function.Youll also need:

• Proven knowledge and experience of working within architecture frameworks e.g., TOGAF.
• An in-depth understanding of typical cloud (Microsoft, Google, AWS) usage scenarios including the ability to select "the right tool for the job"
• An understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 concepts and development techniques
• Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms and integration
• An understanding of DevOps and SecOps tools, techniques and design patterns
• An understanding of AGILE, CI/CD development cycles and release methodologies
• Knowledge of Data architecture and DBMS such as SQL, Hadoop and Blockchain
• Experience of leading and developing high performing teams, providing proactive coaching and guidance
