My award winning Telecommunications client is looking for a Data Cabling Engineer to join their ever growing team. They are a dynamic and fast paced telecommunications business with over 50 years of experience in the Telecomms and data industry.Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand the Data Cabling team and encourage applications from qualified engineers possessing a real passion for Data Cabling installations, both planning and implementation.You will be joining a field based, dedicated and multi-skilled providing a high level of technical expertise and customer service to new as well as existing customers. A company vehicle will also be provided.Key areas of responsibility;- Posses and demonstrate the ability and motivation to become a Data Cabling expert who can gain the trust and respect of the business and customers- Posses the ability to survey, plan and deliver a Data Cabling project to the customers expectations- Provide liaison and guidance to customer and 3rd party IT professionals to ensure quality of our solutions- Provide detailed technical implementation documentationEssential/Desirable Software Skills and Experience;- Experience in the installation of Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling - Experience in the installation of Fibre - Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to liaise with customers in an empathic and technically effective manner via written and communication- Ability to work both individually and within a team environment- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities with a tenacious personality to manage a varied workload in a fast paced, demanding environment - Enthusiastic and can do attitude with high attention to detail and a passion for accuracy - Natural initiative and pro activeness, with a flexible mind and attitude together with the ability to communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical at all levels in an organisation - Willing to work regular overtime and occasional unsocial hours, including overnight stays- Full UK driving license (essential) and used to covering circa 30k miles per year- CSCS, IPAF, PASMA Qualifications
