Job Description

A Commercial Sales Manager or Head of Sales role for a technical SME that is looking to expand. This is a senior sales role that gives you the freedom and autonomy to make a difference. AsCommercial Sales Manager you will be responsible for all sales andmarketing activities with existing business whilst developing new clients across the UK in a variety of industrial markets.BASIC SALARY: £55,000 - £60,000LOCATION:Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, South London or Berkshire - with travel to the coastal Kent site on a weekly basis so an overnight stay may well be required.COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS:Maidstone, Croydon, Basingstoke, Brighton, GatwickAs a small specialist manufacturer / CEM we are part of a larger group that manufacture life affirming, life enhancing, life protecting and lifesaving electronic products. These products are destined for a variety of applications including medical, marine,instrumentation, automotive, navigation, audio, leisure and industrial electronics as well as the production of battery power packs for a variety of industries and market sectors.Objectives of this Commercial Sales Manager / Head of Sales role: You will head up all sales and marketing activities across numerous markets throughout the UK. Establishing and maintaining close relationships with existing major customers and develop new key customer accounts. You should demonstrate analytical skills focusing on sales, profit margins, and general business performance KPIs. You must have the ability to negotiate, problem solve, communicate, and manage day to day company commercial activity to meet business objectives. You will also develop, maintain, and promote research and development programmes to ensure that the company remains at the forefront in the industrySkills and Qualifications Required:As our Head of Sales / Commercial Sales Manager, you should have proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting ideally in the industrial or Electronics or PCB sectors (we will consider any technical background).
