The long-established java codebase has evolved over the companys life span and is now going through a technical transformation to innovate thesoftware and make each users experience that much swifter.My client is currently looking a passionate and driven cloud infrastructure engineer to join there team of highly skilled and highly functioning individuals. You will be reporting directly to the head of infrastructure to make a defined impact on the cloudinfrastructure design of the company.This role offers a clear career progression path alongside the ability to make a significant to processes throughout the organisation.Requirements and Responsibilities- Experience working in an agile environment alongside a highly capable team.- Knowledge of AWS- Experience using DevOps Tools or Containerisation (Docker/Kuberntes)- Solid experience using messaging tools such as RabbitMQ- Migrating and modernising experience.- Great working knowledge of Linux systems- Other desired tools/skills include: PHP, JIRA, MYSQL, MongoDB, BASH scripting, Tomcat etc.- Strong networking understanding- Great written and verbal communication skills.
