Job Description

Water Hygiene Engineer£27k - £32k + Company Vehicle + benefits.We are working in conjunction with a leading specialist in Legionella compliance who are looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer based in the South East. Being in the industry for almost 20 years covering commercial sites such as schools and hospitals, theycan offer successful candidates a clear and concise career path along with training and development opportunities. Candidates must be professional to maintain their outstanding reputation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience within a similar role.Duties of a Water Hygiene Engineer will include:

  • Inspections, servicing and replacing TMVs.
  • Water tank disinfection and cleaning (cold water)
  • Chlorination when necessary.
  • Completing routine temperature checks and sampling.
  • Additional remedial work.
  • Representing the Company and themselves in a professional and polite manner.
The Water Hygiene Engineer must have:
  • A full UK Driving license and be willing to travel throughout the South East, surrounding areas and nationally.
  • 3 + years experience in a similar role
  • Awareness or prior knowledge of ACOP L8.
  • NVQ level 2 in Plumbing would be a bonus.
