Job Description

Job Title:

  • European Road Freight Import Clerk
Key Responsibilities:
  • To assist with the day-to-day operations of the Import Department.
  • Assisting Department Manager in the smooth running of the department
  • Entering jobs and manifests onto the system
  • Supplying the warehouse and all other depots with information required to enable the prompt and efficient off-loading of trailers
  • Liaising with Agents and customers alike to ascertain their needs and requirements in order to ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely fashion
  • Daily collating of necessary and required information from Hauliers of arrival/departure times
  • Daily calculation of prices and costs for certain manifests
  • Daily up-dating of spreadsheets with relevant information
  • Assist the dept manager with the consolidation and presentation of data for monthly KPI reporting
  • As and when required, assisting with the pricing and invoicing of manifests for all import services
  • Upon completion of file invoicing, allocate to designated folders
Salary:£25,000 - £30,000
