My client, based in Basildon, are currently seeking experienced Print Finishers to set up and run various trimming, folding, guillotine and other machinery. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in print finishing and be able to hit theground running in a busy production environment.The shifts for this role is Sunday to Wednesday 8pm to 6am and the pay rate (based on experience) is up to £16 per hour.The Role- Produce work to the highest standards, obtaining maximum output and ensuring procedures and pass sheets are followed at all times- To communicate with the finishing manager in a timely manner- Liaise with fellow operators for handovers / any arising issues- Keeping a clean and tidy workspace at all times- Completion of any relevant worksheets and accurate recording of KPIs- To gain an understanding of the Management Information Systems and use them accurately to report back to the planning departmentThe Candidate- Has previous experience in a similar role (essential)- Is flexible with a positive attitude towards work- Is experienced in using guillotines, folders and general finishing equipment - experience in using MBO folders, Heidelberg Stitchers and Polar Guillotines is highly advantageous - Is comfortable working on a permanent night shift patternShiftsThe shifts for this role are night shifts - Sunday to Wednesday 8pm to 6am.SalaryThe salary for this position is £28,000-£30,000 based on experience.
