Job Description

Logistics OperativeBasildonPermanentWe are looking for a new member to join the Logistics Team performing set daily tasks to support the transition of material through the hub to meet business requirements and service level agreements.Carry out a range of tasks including Goods Receipt, Picking, Stock relocation, Repair receipt, Despatch, Perpetual inventory checks, GFA, Intersite transport etc. You will work in line with business process SCOR, SAP, and local Logistics standard Operating processes.Your Key Responsibility Areas Are:

  • Accurately perform the picking and put away of inventory
  • Control and process incoming goods receipt
  • Perpetual inventory checks
  • Packing and despatch of deliverable item
  • Customer repair receipt and processing
  • Processing and control of GFA inventor
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and batch traceability Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
    • We Are Looking For Someone Who:
  • Understands the correct handling material - small electrical components, static sensitive devices, Optics etc.
  • Can use SAP for logistics transactions or similar business system
  • Holds a clean UK driving licence and is certificated and able to use a fork-lift
    • Essential For This Position:
    1. Numerate and literate
    2. Neat and tidy work ethic in line with 5s principles
    3. Manually dexterous.
    4. Must be prepared to work as part of small, closely knit team who can work unsupervised to complete a set task.
    5. Must be a UK National who is willing to undertake security vetting to SC level and willing to sign the OSA.
    6. Flexible working rota 7:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 7:00 - 14:00 Friday
    7. Physically fit and agile in line with the "Logistics activity safety review" and "Working at height medical" to safely carry out a very active role.
