Job Description

Creative/E-commerce PhotographerBasildon, Essex £28,000 DOE Our large and very well known client based in Basildon is currently recruiting for an organised and creative/E-commerce Photographer to join their photographic department, working in a high-volume studio where your photographs will be used across their company’swebsites, promotional channels and for presenting to retail customers.The Role:Your responsibilities include shooting and editing/retouching product photography, 360º photography and lifestyle images. Experience of producing and editing video content is also necessary for promotional product videos.This role will be based in their photography studio in Basildon. Product images will be required as and when they arrive into the building and you must be able to work to tight deadlines. You must also demonstrate sound technique, strong understanding ofstudio lighting and composition.

  • To ensure each image shows the company’s product in the best possible quality while in accordance with company image standards and strict deadlines
  • Photograph product and manage workflow
  • Follow procedures for naming, saving, archiving photo/video files
  • Maintain equipment and set cleanliness
  • Continuously improve workflows and processes
  • Monitor and uphold quality standards
  • Source and utilise props and locations to create unique and modern imagery
  • Shoot and edit products quickly
  • Shoot and edit 360º photography
  • Capture creative and appealing lifestyle photos for use on websites and social media
  • Produce and edit video content for promotional product videos for marketing purposes
The Candidate:
  • Bachelors Degree in photography
  • Proficient in studio flash and ambient lighting photography.
  • Experience shooting and editing DSLR videos
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects)
  • Experience with digital asset naming conventions and digital archiving
  • Self-starter and strong sense of teamwork
  • Professional photography portfolio that demonstrates a working knowledge of digital photography, including lighting, composition, and colour quality as well as a showreel of your video experience
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.00 (45 minute lunch) 36.25 hoursInitially 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
