Job Description

Our NHS client is looking for an experienced Business Solutions Developer to work on a temporary basis.Band 5 Business Solutions DeveloperLocation: BasildonDuration: Expected to be 12 weeks (potential to go perm)Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pmPay: £15.10 Paye - £17.40 UmbrellaThe primary purpose of the role is to help and support the development of application constructs and help deploy the software assets required by the Trusts broad capital investment programme, with a specific focus on Mobility, VDI, Dash boarding.

  • The post-holder will be primarily responsible for assisting with the construction and implementation of ITT software assets and works associated with capital projects
  • The post-holder will use the established software development tools (e.g. Civica Paris, Delphi, SQL server, Crystal reports, Java, Mirth), as well as other appropriate software and applications
  • The post holder will assist in the capture, consolidation and communication of the information from the subject matter experts (SMEs) and help communicate this via solution proposal documentation to the Infrastructure Design & Change Authority Board (ID & CAB)
  • The Post Holder will work using their own initiative without close supervision to help deliver complex activities, as part of the Trusts transformation programmes. This will include liaison with 3rd parties i.e. Civica, NEL CSU, N3SP, BT and others
  • The Post holder will be responsible for liaising with clinical and business staff to determine the detailed requirements, before applying changes to application or hardware, and subsequently performing testing to assure agreed requirements have been met
  • Attend and contribute to ITT Infrastructure Design & Change Authority Board, ITT team meetings and ITT programme meetings
    • Essential:
  • Educated to Degree level in IT, Computer Sciences related field or equivalent experience
  • Professionally qualified as Chartered Information Technology Professional and registered membership of a Chartered Institute such as British Computer Society or equivalent
