Job Title: Advanced Phlebotomist Band 3Location: BasildonSalary: £22,816 - £24,336 per annum + well-being allowance of £1500Job Type: Full-time, PermanentSYNLAB UK & Ireland work closely with clinicians, hospitals, occupational health providers and clinical researchers to provide a complete pathology offering.About the Role:We are looking to recruit an Advanced Phlebotomists to expand our team working across at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, Southend University Hospital and other local community clinics throughout South Essex. As a Phlebotomist you will be takingblood samples from patients for all our pathology services ensuring correct order of draw, and safe specimen handling using the appropriate PPE.Our Phlebotomy services operate Monday to Sunday and bank holidays from 07.00am - 20.00pm. Due to the wide operating times, you would be working a combination of shifts each week which would include early and late shifts. Weekends and bank holidays are essentialand also an expectation for this role, however they are on a rotational basis and will attract additional enhanced pay.About You:This role is ideally suited for someone who is experienced, caring, friendly and would like to be a part of a team that contributes towards patient care. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work and communicate with a largeteam across multiple sections.A full driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential, as you will be required to travel to a variety of community clinic locations.
