Job Description

A small but passionate children’s care provider is seeking Residential Support Workers to join one of their childrens homes in Wakefield/Barnsley area. They are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and caring individuals who can nurture, support and care for their children and young people aged 8-18 years who have experienced difficulties during the life and display emotional and behavioural difficulties.Their homes are of high standard and they are looking for people who want to carry on the same high standard and quality of care that the team has developed. The children and young people in their care deserve only the best and this includes the people who look after them. My client are looking for serious and passionate individuals to join their team.£24,719.40 to £26,437.80Salary includes 11 sleep ins a month.Support Worker Key skills and Competencies:

  • Motivated, determined and resilient
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and able to adapt to challenging situations
  • Able to carry out household duties
  • Passionate about helping children and young people by inspiring them to aim high and chase their dreams teaching them anything is possible
  • Hold full UK driving licence
  • Able to work shifts and sleep-ins
  • Computer literate
  • Able to complete a Level 3 Diploma
