Job Description

Adecco Cardiff are currently looking for a day shift Warehouse Operative for our client in Barry. The successful candidate will need a Forklift Truck License, full clean driving license and an English and Maths GCSE grade C and above or equivalent qualification.You will be working the combination of morning and afternoon 8 hour shifts throughout the week with a flexible approach required to cover business critical operations including rotational weekend working.Salary - £19,000 plus Shift allowance of £5656 where applicableBetween the hours of 6am- 10pmPrimary Goals

  • To take responsibility for the operation of the product packaging operation and warehousing activities to ensure product is packed safely, efficiently, and to the companies quality standards.
  • Operating and monitoring WPS processes to ensure safety, process safety, and environmental compliance are met whilst packaging targets are achieved.
Other Job Responsibilities
  • Loading of containers with palletised material, filling of tankers, off-loading and removing liners after loading.
  • Safely moving raw material and final product to and from storage areas.
  • Taking accurate recordings of the raw material and final product inventory.
  • Timely maintaining an accurate record keeping / log of incident reports.
  • Ensure your work space is always kept clean and tidy.
