Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for a Senior Regeneration Officer based in Barry. This role is contracted contact us ASAP for more information or apply !Contract starts ASAP until 31/12/2024.-

  • To assist in the delivery of services to promote economic development & regeneration.
  • To lead on the delivery of regeneration projects aimed at securing the environmental, economic and social well being.
  • To proactively develop projects with internal and external partners.
  • To lead on procurement, commissioning and management of work by consultants, contractors and other service providers for assigned projects.
  • To advise and support community groups and businesses, increasing their capacity to deliver local regeneration, including engagement and widespread community consultation.
  • To seek private sector investment and external grant aid and to monitor, maintain and provide the relevant information to support take up.
  • To provide project monitoring information for Performance Plans, Monitoring Reports, Financial Returns and Grant claims.
  • To assist in developing strategic and operational links between physical regeneration programmes and other programmes related to business development and social inclusion.
  • To assist in the management of development projects and act as client officer for associated land and buildings.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade and in accordance with the general character of the job as may reasonably be required by the Chief Officer from time to time.
Candidate :-
  • Proven relevant experience is required.
  • Must be able to start asap.
  • Must have own transport and enhanced DBS check.
Shift :-
  • Mon - Fri, 09.00 - 17.30
  • Temporary contract
