Job Description

The prime responsibility of the Project Manager (Coatings):Coordinates and manages the corrosion management programme on the site.

  • Develops execution plan for site corrosion management budget,
  • Defines packages of work, priorities/time lines for execution
  • Oversees spend forecasting and completion tracking to budget targets
  • Ensures work being undertaken is to the latest Dow standards to ensure a safety first, quality driven and cost-effective methodology
  • Maintains a KPI driven quality management process for painting work undertaken at the Barry site
  • Works with Dow construction manager to ensure new build painting work is completed and site project team are supported
Experience /QualificationsEssential- Project manager with field coordination experience- Experience in permit to work systems and confined space permitsNon-Essential (but advantageous)- NACE level 1 qualification- Experience in painting and corrosion management- Contracts management, fixed work scope tender process, establishing and measuring contractor performance against KPIsAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
