Adecco are currently looking for a Labour and Services Sourcing Specialist to join our client and onsite team based in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan.Benefits: Full time position, contract until July 2022 minimum. Weekly pay Hour rate of up to £18.76 per hour EAP (Employment Assistance Program) Adecco benefits (online portal for discounts) Onsite parking Paid DBS and medical (required to undertake if successful) Ongoing training and support 33 days holiday per year (25 days plus 8 bank holidays) Adecco onsite team - for ongoing support onsite should you need itThis role sources and manages a portfolio within the Labour and Services area including Mechanical, Insulation, Scaffolding, Electrical and Instrumentation, and other services to support the site.Responsibilities / Duties*Manages a portfolio of services to improve the companies cost position and supply security in the market through application of the strategic sourcing process.*Utilizes business acumen and analytics to drive value from the market and influence stakeholders.*Responsible for the negotiation, execution and implementation of commercial agreements and related work processes in accordance with the strategies within the commercial area and/or geography.*Develops knowledge of the supply market and suppliers. Conducts Strategic Sourcing Projects including market analysis and the development of short and mid-term strategies.*Works with functional and business partners to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategy and implementation plans.*Negotiates pricing, payment and delivery terms for contracts and executes the agreements.*Manage Supplier Relationships including the commercial relationship. Monitors supplier performance against key performance indicators and effectively manage quality service / product performance issues with suppliers.*Selects and evaluates Suppliers and assists with the prequalification and site access processes related to on-site engagement*Display leadership, great teamwork and communication skills with business partners and the global, regional and local procurement team*Demonstrated ability to solve supply, price and logistics issues under pressure with competing priorities.*Understands and practices appropriate work process governance and compliance.Skills & knowledge*Bachelors Degree or equivelent (Business preferred or Engineering).* Relevant experience preferred.Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities.*Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers.*Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline.*Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations.*Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.*Strong written and oral communications skills.*Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to work with large amounts of data.*Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.*Demonstrated skills in negotiation or influencing the decision making process.*Demonstrated skills in project management.*Proven ability to solve problems and think strategically.*Ability to work across regions and functions.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
