Job Description

  • Collecting goods from the PPE Stores, or other pick-up point.
  • Loading the vehicle in an order that matches the deliveries youll make.
  • Greeting people who receive care and support, care providers and other customers.
  • Delivering PPE items to customers or leaving in an agreed secure location and notifying customers of the delivery.
  • Assisting customers who collect PPE to load it into their vehicles.
  • Recording mileage and fuel you buy
  • Returning undelivered items
  • Packing PPE items and other goods in accordance with orders, ready for transportation or collection.
  • Updating stock control records.
  • Checking orders/deliveries to ensure correct quantities are delivered/received.
  • Unpacking deliveries and arranging storage space.
  • Moving and relocating stock using trolleys, trucks and other equipment to assist you.
  • Ensure that vehicles are kept clean and in a serviceable condition by carrying out daily checks before driving vehicles. Report/feedback promptly to line manager any defects or faults identified.
