Job Description

(Aviation) Maintenance ManagerSouth Glamorgan 23040/534M£79,000A fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Manager has arisen with an ever-growing business. My client is at the forefront of premier aviation services, supplying a range of solutions to companies around the World.Currently undergoing a period of unprecedented growth that will see this business expand massively into new global markets.As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring procedures and standards are complied with, quality control, and training and development of the maintenance team.My client adhered to EASA standards, alongside P.145.Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completion and certification of all contracted work.
  • Ensure that the procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance.
  • Establish training programs.
  • Ensure all subcontract orders are correctly detailed and fulfilled.
  • Responds to quality deficiencies in the area of activity for which he is responsible, which arise from independent quality audits.
  • Develops production planning system appropriate to the amount and complexity of the maintenance scope of work.
  • Ensures availability of all necessary maintenance data as required by part 145.
  • Maintain adherence to Company Health & Safety policy by all staff and report issues/concerns (including 5S, Housekeeping, etc.).
  • Training and development of the maintenance team to ensure succession planning is in place and the team is equipped to manage business demand.
Skill and Experiences
  • Part 66 Licenced Engineer
  • Demonstrable aircraft maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of the Part 145
