Job Description

Role: Warehouse/Logistics ManagerLocation: North DevonContract: PermanentSalary: DOEAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse / Logistics Manager for a role based in North Devon. The role will cover aspects such as warehousing, distribution , dispatch and transport.Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the logistics
  • To provide motivation and development for reporting staff
  • To process customers orders and arrange deliverys and collections through operational logistics
  • Responsible for transport planning and drivers routing
  • Responsible for time management
  • To perform annual performance reviews for reporting staff
  • To manage the companys O license and our drivers compliance requirements
  • To oversee various company internal checks and compliance standards
  • To be part of the operations management team
  • To support the business by being perceptive and future orientated
Experience and qualifications:
  • Vehicle fleet management - ADR , "O" licence , CPC
  • Facilities maintenance or service management
  • IOSH , NEBOSH , H&S, FMCG
  • Proficient in ERP , SAP or ICS
  • Stock management
  • CI programs
  • 3rd party support services
  • Strong customer service levels
