They are currently trialling a 4-day working week and during that time you can either opt in or out of the pilot. Hours of work available are:OPT IN - Monday to Thursday 7.am to 5.30pmOPT OUT - Monday to Thursday am to pm/Friday am to pmRole Overview:This role will be responsible for establishing a robust site infrastructure service and facilities programme, incorporating daily through to annual requirements to ensure site standards are both maintained and enhanced to provide safe and efficient operationof the Barnstaple Site and identifying opportunities to enhance external and internal infrastructure facilities and processes. This will include implementation of a contract schedule and the coordination of resources on site to manage the programme of infrastructure maintenance and facilities programmeYou will be responsible for establishing and managing planned delivery of the budget for the maintenance of the Site Infrastructure and support the HSE Manager in addressing Site Infrastructure, office and manufacturing environment service requirements to meetbusiness needs.Core Competencies required:
  • Experienced in establishing site infrastructure service programme, incorporating daily through to annual scheduled requirements to ensure site standards are maintained and enhanced.
  • You will be highly customer focused with excellent technical knowledge/skills, strong personnel and influencing skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven experience of contract management, from establishing requirements through to coordinating contract resource on site; together with managing a small team of personnel.
  • Experienced in performing minor works, such as plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance activities.
  • Experienced in carrying out risk assessments, developing procedures and maintaining documentation/records to company standard.
  • Proven experience of managing a team and coordinating contractors whilst on-site
Required Skills and Experience:Essential:
  • Experience in site infrastructure servicing coordination, maintenance or similar industry - including hands-on maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage contract service support for the site; including pre engagement through to on-site requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive under pressure and deliver against deadlines.
  • Diligent and methodical with attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with good time management skills and able to prioritise tasks.
  • Good level of written and verbal communication with experience of using Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Proactive approach to EHS and promoting safe working at all time
Desirable:
  • Experience of conducting risk assessments and developing safe working procedures; together with extensive experience in reviewing contract documentation and procedures.
  • Experience of using Teams, Salesforce and Epicor
  • Basic electrical/mechanical qualifications/experience (eg. 18th Edition Electrical Wiring regulations)
