Job Description

They are currently trialling a 4-day working week and during that time you can either opt in or out of the pilot. Hours of work available are:OPT IN - Monday to Thursday 7.am to 5.30pmOPT OUT - Monday to Thursday am to pm/Friday am to pmRole Overview:
  • Deliver the best solution for both the customer and TT electronics, driving growth and sustainability. This will include full preparation for every meeting / phone call, creating quarterly business reviews (Quality and OTIF), developing forward-lookingcustomer objectives, and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • From the point of RFQ receipt, you will have full end to end oversight and drive the various functions for efficiency in response time and commercially optimal pricing.
  • Management of pricing activity with the Customers to ensure best recoveries based on value to the customer and realise close/win on business opportunities.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a technical manufacturing environment, presenting even the most complex tasks in a simple and efficient way.(Project Management, Customer Account Management, Procurement, or similar)
  • Extensive experience working in low volume, high product mix, build-to-print environments within Aerospace, defence or technical manufacturing environments.
  • Being build to print of complex electronics, its a must to be able to digest, organise and communicate (with excellence) requirements with a level of effective negotiation and influencing skills for win-win outcomes.
  • Experience is change management or diverse project management is desirable to demonstrate the ability to thrive under pressure and agility to deliver against strict deadlines.
  • End to end RFQ management; Generating estimation sheets, working with engineering, procurement, etc for labour times and costing, commercial evaluation for price (pulling out any key drivers), developing a business case or program style format for delivery& finally any negotiations of the back.
  • University Degree in Business, Engineering or similar.
  • Proven ability in negotiation of high value contracts.
  • Full UK driving licence
