What you will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring patients conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
  • Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse
  • Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.
  • Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.
  • The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
Youll have the following qualification/experience:All Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification. Evidence accepted includes: -
  • Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements.
  • Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation
  • QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011
  • QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011
  • QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only)
  • Degree /Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration.
  • Minimum of 6 months Acute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years
