Role: Admin Assistant (part-time, 15hrs per week - x 2 full days or split days 3 days per week)Salary: £19,500 - £23,500 per annum (pro-rata) depending on experience + bonusRole type: Part-time, PermanentLocation: Barnstaple, North Devon (office based role)The Company: Our client is a growing business who work with some of the largest Telecom operators in the world, they have customers across the UK, Asia, Africa and America.What is the purpose of the Admin Assistant role Our client now requires the services of an experienced Office Administrator/Bookkeeper who is organised and a self starter to support a challenging administration function. You will be supporting the Managing Director and the Operations team by helping to maintaininternal business and legal documentation, bookkeeping and general administration duties.What will be the responsibilities of the Admin Assistant* Bookkeeping including tracking and reconciliation of accounts* Budget forecasting and financial insights for balance sheets and profit/loss via Xero* Customer invoicing and tracking of payments* Data entry including updating internal documents for HR, financial and legal information* Inventory of office supplies, including stationery and equipment* Company correspondence, including phone calls, emails, letters and packages* Minute taking for company meetings* Support business process functions including accreditation and strategic objectives* Manage office utilities for water, electricity etc and any general third party building maintenance such as cleaners, fire/burglar alarms, CCTV, fire extinguishers, air conditioning etcWhat skills and Experience will the Admin Assistant have* Knowledge and experience in bookkeeping/general accounts* Able to produce clear, concise and accurate written and verbal communications (in English) at all levels* Excellent organisation skills and confident when dealing with sensitive information* High level of data input accuracy to ensure inventories and documents are correct.* Good IT skills with the ability to learn and utilise different packages such as Slack, OpenProject, Ticketing systems etc* Good knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc* Work in compliance with internal processes and systems* A motivated attitude and show a keen desire to support the business* Work effectively both individually and within teamsQualifications* Preferred A-Levels (or equivalent)* Any other professional certifications an advantageSpecial requirements/Additional Information * This is an office based role in Barnstaple, North DevonWhat will the Admin Assistant get in return* Competitive salary* Yearly bonus and performance bonus* Incentive structure - annual company and individual performance bonus targets* Workplace Pension Scheme* Structured career progression opportunities* Full in-house training for internal IT packages* Fun team building days* Opportunity to build a career with a North Devon based company
