Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our award winning team in South Yorkshire.ROLE PROFILEAs a Consultant within Operam Education Group, you will work towards running a profitable, efficient desk whilst operating as a part of the wider business team. You will support the expected culture aligned with legislation, company values and achievingsuccess in line with target requirement. It is essential that you provide exceptional support to all stakeholders including customers where relationships should be developed, whilst also ensuring compliance to Company policy and procedures at all times.Reporting to: Branch Manager/Associate DirectorJOB SPECIFICATIONBusiness Development and Client Management

  • Working with the Branch Manager you will implement an achievable annual desk business plan.
  • Ensure overall achievement to your required monthly and annual targets whilst ensuring you work within defined business policies.
  • Continually increase your daily, weekly and monthly productivity and sales activity to see a year on year growth of sales revenue, days and hours sold, daily margins and profit ensuring.
  • Deliver an exceptional fulfilment rate for candidate and client service levels.
  • Ensure maximisation of existing client expenditure by regular calls and service visits.
  • Be responsible for regularly updating and maintaining your client records on Access to support compliancy.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the full process of the contracts is actioned including management of timesheets for the client.
  • Ensure all agreed rates with your client are correctly recorded and any other requests from clients are implemented.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitors and their actions.
Candidate ManagementContinuously identify and anticipate the candidate requirements on your desk. Resourcing the relevant candidates for your clients and forward planning ensuring that you have enough candidates of various disciplines to support your desk needs.
  • Deliver the companys expectations of contact with our candidate and take the necessary action.
  • Increase the maximisation of the candidates via spec calls on new and existing candidates.
  • Through communication with your clients via surveys, mailshots and business/ relationship calls, identify their current and anticipated needs and take action through advertising, social media and the contacting current company database
  • Analyse the reasons for your lost, withdrawn and terminated contracts and feedback to the Operations Director at your 1 to 1 meetings.
  • Update the disciplines and skills on all candidates on Access, through various methods of communication at appropriate times of the academic year.
  • Be accountable to the candidate Right to Work on Access
  • Report to the Operations Director all improvements and findings on the candidate management on your desk on a monthly basis.
  • Deal with all complaints in line with the company expectations and deliver any feedback to both schools and candidates in a professional and effective way.
  • Take the responsible for ensuring that the full process of the candidate contracts is actioned including management of timesheets for the candidate.

  • Can work unsupervised whilst always maintaining an appearance that is suitable to represent the business.
  • To be able to effectively multitask, adequately prioritise a busy and demanding workload and work towards and within deadlines.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and in the spirit of the Company and your position.
  • Be self-motivated and target driven with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Through effective communication you will responsible for getting the required outcomes.
  • Be proactive and commercially astute.
  • Possess excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the education market, understanding the regulated requirements within this market including but not limited to safeguarding and DBS policy and procedures.
  • Have a background of working within a sales and customer services environment with an outstanding ability to build customer relationships.
