Job Description

Trading AssistantUp to £30,000Barnsley, South Yorkshire Elevation Recruitment have an amazing opportunity for an ambitious individual wanting to kick start or progress their career in Purchasing! As a Trading Assistant you will be providing support to the sales teams in executing trades, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations within the trading department. Responsibilities:

  • Processing orders received from customers or sales representatives
  • Help manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, and coordinating with the warehouse or logistics teams
  • Placing orders with suppliers, negotiating prices, and coordinating logistics for shipping or delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, including purchase orders, sales contracts, and shipping documents
  • Provide administrative support
  • Ensure that all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and pricing dynamics
  • Liaise with customers to provide order status updates, resolve inquiries or issues, and ensure customer satisfaction
