Job Description

Technical Product Assistant - Central HeatingJob Title: Technical Product Assistant - Central HeatingIndustry Sector: Central Heating, Thermostats, Boilers, Receivers, Valves, Pumps, Underfloor Heating, Wiring and Smart HomeBased: South Yorkshire OfficeBasic Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 + profit share bonusBenefits: Comprehensive benefitsThe role of the Technical Product Assistant - Central Heating will involve:

  • Technical product assistant providing first line technical support to sales team, merchants & professional installers for all queries relating to central heating products
  • Telephone based role primarily, you will act as the dedicated technical product support manager
  • Product support, and customer facing technical trouble shooting around our clients thermostats
  • As you gain more experience you will begin to write up technical documents for our client
  • Updating all Q&As
  • Uploading spec sheets to relevant places
  • Keeping up-to-date with the companys products, attending internal train to remain clued up
  • Acting as the link between the sales team and the technical department
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Product Support Manager - Central Heating experience with:
  • Ideally will have knowledge of how central heating systems work
  • Knowledge of valves, pulps, boilers, receivers are all of interest, specific knowledge of thermostats is not required
  • Ideally will have worked in a previous role on the phone
  • Someone that is eager & keen to learn
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Team player
  • Flexible in approach
  • Hard working
  • Good communication skills
  • Good literacy skills
