Job Description

Job title: Security OfficerLocation: BarnsleySalary: From minimum wage up to £10 p/hour.Job type: TemporarySparta are a fast paced Security Company covering the Barnsley specific area.We are recruiting for Self Employed, Professional and Reliable Security Officer to join our team!Note - this job IS NOT for the majority. We are looking for professional Security Officers / Dog Handlers who are alert, switched on and who are not afraid of hard work. Being ex-military or uniformed services is not essential but is looked on as a benefit.The Role/Candidate:

  • Reliable (good time management)
  • Experience (preventing public entering a restricted area with a car is a must and 5 years minimum security experience preferred)
  • Flexible (able to work 4 days on and 4 days off, authorised to work in the UK)
  • Management (staff and incident management patrolling the area and writing daily occurrence reports)
  • Problem solving (sound thought processes and problem-solving skills)
  • Ownership mentality (takes responsibility for actions and decisions)
  • Be able to adapt to immediate situations and react accordingly
  • Physically fit
  • Valid SIA badge a must.
