Job Description

Ref: 490Role: Sales Property ValuerSalary: £25,000Location: Barnsley (S75)Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 9am - 4pm (day off in the week when working a Saturday)Our client is an estate agent where a personal service is central to everything they do. They place great emphasis on communication and building strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Generating new and repeat business.
  • Gaining new instructions for properties to market.
  • Marketing properties to buyers.
  • Upselling products such as mortgages and surveyors.
  • Preparing brochures for each property with photos, and written descriptions.
  • Supporting the sales team with viewings and finalising sales.
  • Carrying out follow up calls with clients.
  • Ensuring properties adhere to health and safety standards
The successful candidate:
  • Full UK Driving Licence & access to own vehicle.
  • Experience as a valuer or an experienced sales negotiator who is ready to the next step in their career.
  • Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
  • A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Good telephone manner
  • Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
  • Strong attention to detail
