Job Description

GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc.Are you a highly meticulous, organised and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment Do you love data and are highly competent with Excel Are you good at spotting trends and needsHere at GXO, we are on the lookout for a Resource Planning Manager to join us at our ASOS contract in Barnsley. Working alongside the Operations Planning Manager youll be responsible for building recruitment plans, analysing our workforce, ensuring thatwe have a balanced skill set across the contract and youll be involved in trend analysis to support cost saving and labour plans. This is a permanent, full time opportunity, working on a MondayFriday basis 08301700, however we would expect a degreeof flexibility from time to time.Pay, benefits and more.Were looking to offer a salary of up to £42,000 per annum. We offer 25 days holiday per annum, as well as the option to buy additional days. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as cycle to work scheme and many other perks.What youll do on a typical day:

  • Plan and ensure we have sufficient capacity to meet the forecasted demand and delivery of the expected service levels, with the right number of people at the right time in accordance with our budgetary financial targets and KPIs
  • Manage both internal and external key relationships, delivering forecasts, planning models and future requirements
  • Motivate and develop your team of analysts and administrators
  • Manage the production of MI on a weekly basis on annualised hours and headcount numbers
  • Complete analysis on volumes (planned vs actuals), attendance, agency usage, seasonal demands, working closely with the Finance Team to ensure full costing support around resource plans
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previous planning experience in a fast-moving, Ecommerce, resource planning capacity
  • Strong IT skills, particularly utilisation of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office to an advanced level
  • Manage individual workload efficiently and effectively, with the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Be customer focused, operationally astute and experienced in achieving objectives
  • Analytically minded and unafraid to challenge
