Job Description

Quality InspectorPermanent, Night Shifts, on-siteup to £42,000 per annumHours:

  • 22:00-06:00 Monday-Thursday & 17:00-01:00 Friday

My client is looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector to their night shift team, this client is a world leader in their sector and have fantastics plans leading into the new year. They are a bespoke manufacturer working in the industry with a globalcustomer base, with products sold and supported locally by over 40 countries.As a Quality Inspector, you will be a strong team player with the expertise, skills and knowledge within quality and a background within Manufacturing/Fabircation environments. You will work as a problem solver and a no-fault forward attitudeResponsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide QC support to Production areas, perform inspections, collect measurement data, and ensure QC documents are available.
  • Support QA Engineers and Team Leaders in implementing preventative solutions within quality.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and auditing of Quality Control Procedures.
  • Conduct “patrol” inspection in identifying non-conforming processes to standards and identifying reworks.
  • Performing containment of defective products.
Experience:
  • Visual Weld Inspection Qualification(PCN/CSWIP or relevant)
  • Experience in manufacturing practices; Welding, Fabrication, Assembly and/or Pressing.
  • Abilityusing manual inspectiondevices, e.g. Verniers, bore micrometre, bore gauges, Go/No Go gauges etc.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings;
  • Computer literate (microsoft packages)
  • Fully eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship requirement
