Purchase Ledger ClerkBarnsley 25,000 to 27,000Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a growing and reputable Automotive company in Barnsley.The successful applicant will join a close-knit team, assisting with purchase ledger, bankreconciliations, periodic accounting, and general administration.Key Responsibilities of a Purchase Ledger Clerk: Processing of invoices. Payment of invoices. Making one off payments to external contractors outside of normal payment runs. Resolving any invoice queries and gaining authorisation. Responding to payment queries from external contractors. Assisting with the month end bank reconciliation. Assisting with the production of year end or periodic accounts. Taking card payments over the phone from customers. Answering telephone queries from customers.
