Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Shift Engineer to be responsible for keeping production & Plant machinery in service as well as downtime to a minimum. The role is to work as part of a team covering 24/7 demands of the business.This role works a Panama Shift pattern.Our Maintenance Shift Engineer perks and benefits are:

Maintenance Shift Engineer Overview
  • In this role you will comply with all HSE policies and procedures, ensuring that engineering records are accurately maintained & presented in a timely manner.
  • You will be carrying out electrical diagnostic work on PLC systems, Implementing & supporting rapid breakdown fault finding & rectification, recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
  • Responsible for breakdowns, fault finding & repairing complex machinery & ancillaries; PLCs / Controls SIEMENS. Assisting with the focussed improvement team.
  • Working on 3 phase electrical systems & operations, Initiating improvement in practices, Systems & procedures. Mechanical maintenance.
About you!
  • Electrical / Mechanical qualifications
  • Time served engineering apprenticeship
  • Trouble shoot & repair equipment & systems which include Electrical, mechanical, Pneumatic, hydraulic
  • Several years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Welding qualification
  • Installation and commissioning of industrial machinery
  • Accountable and flexible
  • Integrity under pressure

  • Good understanding of engineering principles
  • Be able to carry out PPM on machinery.
