Job Description

We are supporting a long-standing client looking to appoint a maintenance engineer who will work on a variety of equipment in house. Our client manufactures heavy machinery so you will work on a range of new and used kit ensuring the products are maintainedto a high standard and fit for client purpose. Based at the workshop in South Yorkshire the appointed maintenance engineer will be responsible for fault finding both mechanically and electrically.If you are looking to grow and develop in a business which offer a detailed training plan and care about your development, then look no further.Roles and responsibilities:

Carrying out maintenance in house on heavy plant machinery
Experienced both mechanically and electrically.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Ability to work on kit over 5 tonnes.
High regard for health and safety
Experienced working to a planned maintenance schedule
Experience working on JCB’s, recycling/construction equipment, trucks and wheel loaders is advantageous.

Skills and qualifications:

Electrically and or mechanically qualified
NVQ level 2 or 3 is advantageous.
Experienced working to breakdowns and a PPM.
Understanding and experience of working with heavy machinery.
