Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Internal Account Manager to join a thriving manufacturing organisation based at their modern, state of the art headquarters located in Barnsley.Joining an organisation with an excellent reputation within the UK Electrical Wholesale sector, the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and industry and be passionate about building strong customer relationships and developing existingand new customer accounts.We are looking for a proactive and tenacious candidate, with an attitude to succeed in sales and able to thrive in a fast paced and competitive environment as well as a drive to achieve sales targets through excellent communication skills and a confidentattitude.Working within a highly active, focussed and dynamic sales environment, key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Generate sales among existing accounts and develop new business within the Electrical Wholesale market.
  • Develop strong understanding of customer base and relevant product lines
  • Generating quotations for customers and following quotations through to sale
  • Keeping up to date with product range and new product releases
  • Ensuring CRM database is kept up to date with accurate customer information
  • Working towards KPIs and revenue targets
